HI Douglas, I am so happy for you! Even happier for all of us out here in this universe to be able to read your beautiful words. Your point of view, brilliant taste and years of knowledge is something to be shared. Bring it on!!

After your email to me about suits, Jackie and I knew you should be doing something like this (didn't she suggest something About writing over Korean BBQ?).

You have always had such a fresh and insightful perspective on fashion and it's so good to see (and read) your thoughts. Makes me miss the days at LD. Congrats!

Douglas,
From reading your blog, one couldn't tell that this is your first shot at this. But in a way it is not, since you've been in this industry for a long time, with a very strong and beautiful vision of what goes on in fashion, this is just another way for you to express it.
I'm proud of you......

Nancy, thanks! It's interesting how genuinely terrified i was by the whole concept before I started. I have grown to really like doing this. I have Junya Watanabe and Comme des Garcons next... Dries Van Noten and Givenchy backed up.... I am going to incorporate showroom appointment experiences as well... sort of a runway to actual showroom visit buying experience correlation. Maybe at some point... then incorporate that to fashion on the street. That should keep me going for a while, oui? - Doug
