Milan – the arrival
I’ve just arrived in Milan today. A little behind the rest of the crowd this trip. Mission is to get in, get the appointments and the work done…. and move on to Paris. We are not attending any runway shows here this trip. ( I am grateful to style.com ) Trying to shorten the trip a bit so really focusing on the showroom appointments here in Milan. We will really spoil ourselves in Paris and attend the usual roster of our shows there.
One of the other reasons I cannot wait to come to Milan is the food. We certainly eat well here. The quality and freshness of ingredients is what makes the difference in this city… in this country! These photos will speak for themselves… a little mozzarella/rucola/tomato salad to start, spaghetti alla vongole to follow and then a cime di rapa to finish things off. ( and this was lunch one Sunday last September in between appointments )

No need to go into details but just after Paris last October,
I needed to tend to somethings and lost the rhythm.
Transitions in life… family…
but all is well now and it’s the start of another season and I am good to go again!
